Luke Cavalan is a Senior 2D Animator & Finishing/ Online Video Editor based in Sydney, Australia.

In 2010, he attended the Annecy International Animation festival where he met Matt Groening from the Simpsons and Peter Lord from Aardman, who were very supportive and inspired him to pursue a career in animation. His experience working in the industry has trained him to have a high degree of self motivation and a strong work ethic.

Luke has produced 2D animations for clients such as for: Adidas, Foot Locker, MTV, Linked In, Opera Australia, QLD Theatre, Sydney Jewish Museum, Australian Government, QLD Government, AEGIC, Generation Victoria, Freelancing Gems, RiTA AiRE, Ch 9, Ch 7 & SBS.

In 2018, he placed 9th in a worldwide animation competition called One Frame of White. In 2019, he placed 5th in the worldwide competition in New York for the 3D animation he created. 

Software skillset: Autodesk Flame, Nuke, Adobe CC Suite, Logic Pro, Dragon Frame and Da Vinci Resolve.

Luke is also a beatboxer and didgeridoo player, he has performed at music festivals and venues nationally and internationally.
